Danielle Nixon, DVM
I am the owner and veterinarian of Crescent Animal Hospital. I decided to open CAH in 2016 to be more involved with the community that my family has put roots down in through our church, schools, sports, and my husband’s job. When I opened the doors in 2016, it was just Shaney and myself.
I am a “Double Dawg” graduate from the University of Georgia in 2001 and 2004 where I earned my Animal Heath degree and then my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. I met my husband when I was in Veterinary School when he was the Agriculture teacher at Crescent High School. In our community, you might hear some say, “the other Dr. Nixon” as he is now the Deputy Superintendent of our School District. We have two school-aged children that are involved in our local sports, arts, and music groups. We also have two dogs name: Maggie and Hank and two cats named: Pearl and Mae.
We are blessed to live in an area where we have such a wonderful community that supports us and where we can give back to those who are going to allow this community to thrive.
